EC students shine at music convention

East Central High School is pleased to announce the selected students for the highly competitive Yamaha/EC Music Business Job Shadow Initiative at Texas Music Educators Association Convention 2026: Zoe Ramon, 12th grade; Kaitlyn Schuchardt, 12th grade; Corey Chavarria, 12th grade; Alternate: Malaya Stevens, 10th grade; These students then participated in the Yamaha Job Shadow Program during the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Convention on Feb. 12, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio.
