Monreal, Bellinger win county voters as judge, justice of the peace

Michael “Mike” Monreal is set to succeed Hank Whitman as Wilson County judge, following the March 3 Republican and Democratic primary elections. Based on unofficial results on election night, Republican candidate Monreal drew 5,488 votes to the 1,755 garnered by his opponent, former Wilson County Auditor Brenda Treviño. Results remain unofficial until canvassed.
