County approves tax abatement policy changes

[Video below] Unless a developer requests a tax abatement, almost nothing can be done on the county level, Wilson County commissioners told citizens March 9, during a public hearing. The hearing was held to discuss and take action on changes to the county’s tax abatement policy, during which several residents gave public comments on concerns related to data centers, and other industrial development in rural areas.
