Q: Can you tell me a little bit about this year’s Rodeo tomato? I try to buy at least one every year. A: The 2026 Rodeo tomato is the Polbig F1 Hybrid. Information on the Bexar County Master Gardener site says that it is great for Texas spring and fall planting. The plant likes full sun, does well in all soils except clay, and has average water needs. This is a compact high yield determinate tomato maturing in 56 to 61 days.
