Editor: Re: “Wilson County residents: Protect our water,” Feb. 25 Wilson County residents are encouraged to join the Wilson County Resource Preservation Project and help ensure development remains responsible and balanced. This grassroots organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Together, as of March 13, we’ve collected 2,000-plus signatures on a petition asking for thoughtful growth. Our county can support thoughtful growth, but proposals for multiple power plants and several massive data centers in a small rural county raise serious concerns for our aquifer, land, and air. Together, residents can help ensure expansion remains sustaining, not overwhelming. The future of Wilson County...
