Update 11:26 a.m. – Fire crews with Wilson County District 1 Fire & Rescue responded to the fire, caused by a landscape worker burning grass on the site. The fire was quelled shortly after it flared up by personnel using a fire extinguisher. *** Fire crews are on the scene in La Vernia, where a fire has been reported outside the U.S. Post Office on Bluebonnet Road (F.M. 775).
