Jaguars get the win over the Uvalde Lobos

The Floresville varsity Jaguar softball team traveled to Uvalde to take on the Lobos March 21. The Jaguars’ bats were hot and so was their defense. Teegan Smolka, Ava Cardenas, Belle Morones, Layla Villanueva, Jocey Fehse, Caleigh Alvarez, Carley Lang, and Mialynn Gulamhussein hit consistently through all innings. Paislee Harrell started for the Jaguars, making the Lobos struggle to gain contact with the ball. In the final innings, Alyssah Bolanos relieved Harrell, and closed out the game, securing the win over the Lobos.
