Floresville High School sent four girls to compete at the THSWPA 4A-Division 1 Championship meet March 20. Payton Austin finished 15th in the 114-pound class, Joselyn Avila finished 16th and Kambri Angle finished eighth in the 165-pound class, and Gabrielle Honesto placed third in the 220-pound class. Congratulations! This week, Floresville will send five boys who qualified to compete at the Boys THSPA Div 2-4A State meet on Friday, March 27, at 8 a.m. Tiger State qualifiers are Josh Martinez, 148-pound class; Carlos Reyes, 181-pound class; Matt Cottrell, 198-pound class; Ethan Williams, 220-pound class; and Omar Torres, 242-pound class.
