Wilson County will offer free training for volunteers who would like to assist in local disaster response. Volunteers must attend two Incident Command Systems Training classes (ICS-100 and ICS-200), to be conducted on Thursday, April 2, and Thursday, April 16, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wilson County Emergency Operations Center, 802 10th St., (U.S. 181) in Floresville. The training capacity is limited to 40 attendees; priority will be given to volunteers new to emergency management.
