March is busy for Wilson County Extension Master Gardeners

Dan Hosage provided the community with a gardening questions-and-answers session at the Feb. 26 meeting of the Wilson County Extension Master Gardeners (WCEMG). Bringing over 45 years of gardening experience, community members were provided with phenomenal gardening strategies for the upcoming season! Attendees also celebrated the program’s newest certified Master Gardener, Laura Hamblen! On March 3, WCEMG President Betty Freasier provided a presentation to the Wilson County Retired School Personnel on “pruning tips.” This educational gardening presentation provided community members with pruning techniques and how to care for trees.
