DAR Susanna Dickinson Chapter shares U.S. history in Stockdale

In period attire, Linda Saidler, a member of the La Vernia-based Susanna Dickinson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, visits Stockdale Elementary School fifth-graders March 20 to share the stories of five signers of the American Declaration of Independence. Her presentation is part of the Susanna Dickinson Chapter’s efforts to celebrate America’s 250th birthday this year. Each student signed the chapter’s copy of the Declaration and received a U.S. flag.
