Accordionist Marco Martinez is Big Squeeze finalist

[With video] Eleven-year-old Marco Triunfo Martinez of Floresville is a star on the rise — his talent on the accordion has landed him a place in the finals of Texas Folklife’s “Big Squeeze” accordion competition. The fifth-grade Sacred Heart Catholic School student developed a passion for music when he was 18 months old, while he was playing with a toy accordion and drum set, gifted to him by his grandmother.
