The Joshua D. Brown Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (DRT) celebrated San Jacinto Day on April 21, a Texas Honor Day in the history of the Republic of Texas. On Saturday, April 18, the 2026 San Jacinto Day Celebration, presented by the San Jacinto Museum and the Texas Historical Commission, was a day of fun, reenactments, and living history activities celebrating the 190th anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto.
