Save on emergency supplies April 25-27 during sales-tax holiday

Texans can purchase certain items tax free during the state’s Emergency Preparation Supplies Sales Tax Holiday beginning Saturday, April 25, at 12:01 a.m. and extending through Monday, April 27, at midnight. There’s no limit on the number of qualifying items you can purchase. These include: •Household batteries, fuel containers, and flashlights priced less than •Hurricane shutters and emergency ladders priced less than 0 •Portable generators priced less than ,000.
