The American Legion Post 38 Auxiliary invites interested students to apply by Friday, May 1, for the Texas Boys State and Texas Girls State programs. American Legion Boys and Girls State Programs are a unique educational program that empowers young men and women to learn about the workings of government and the importance of civic engagement. This week-long experience will provide participants with a hands-on understanding of the democratic process, leadership skills, and the responsibilities of citizenship.
