National Train Day May 9 in Floresville

The Floresville Heritage and Railroad Museum will hold its first event on National Train Day, Saturday, May 9, at the former San Antonio & Aransas Pass railway depot in Floresville. Members of the public are invited to visit the depot between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. for snacks and refreshments, and to discuss ideas and plans for the restoration of the old structure. A G-scale model railroad display, two track inspection cars, and other railroad items will be on hand for viewing.
