Voters cast early ballots in Wilson County-area elections

Wilson County-area voters have been heading to the polls during early voting ahead of the May 2 election for city councils and school boards. Early voting began April 20. There was a pause in voting April 21, to acknowledge San Jacinto Day, which is a state holiday (see related story, page 12A) and continued through April 28. As of Friday, April 24, the following ballots had been cast: Election day is Saturday, May 2, with voting from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following locations: •Floresville City Hall, 1120 D St. in Floresville •Poth City Hall, 200 N.
