Veterans benefit from SPJST District 7 donation drive

FLORESVILLE — Community spirit and generosity filled SPJST Lodge 107 at the second annual District 7 Rally as veterans were honored with meaningful support. Approximately 69 people attended the free community rally March 22. The event supported residents of the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville through donations and community engagement. Attendees donated 96.8 pounds of snack items, along with numerous socks and undershirts for veterans. Donations filled a pickup truck bed, with additional boxes inside the cab. The rally’s Silent Auction raised 6 in monetary donations benefiting the veterans home.
