St. Hedwig community honors Fr. Bill with memorial bench

On Sunday, April 19, despite adverse weather, 80 parishioners and community members gathered in the St. Hedwig City Park for a special commemoration. A park bench honoring our beloved Father Bill Zadora was situated in a prominent place and blessed by Deacon Rick Coronado. Speeches were given by Mr. Norm Custer, whose idea this was, and Deacon Rick, who worked beside Fr. Bill for many years. Father Bill Zadora had been the revered pastor for more than 37 years at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig. In 2024, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and...
