Pirettes complete season as Area Champions

The Poth Pirette varsity softball team fell to Santa Gertrudis, 0-2, in a best-of-three game series during Regional Semifinals play May 8. The Pirettes fell in game one on May 7, 0-13. On May 8, Poth returned for game two and fought hard but ultimately lost, 4-6. The Pirettes hold a final record of 27-8 for the season and are the Area Champions after defeating Cotulla, 2-0, in a best-of-three game series April 30- May 1. Congratulations on a strong season, Pirettes!
