May is busy for Wilson County Extension Master Gardeners; new class starts Aug. 3

On April 23, the Wilson County Extension Master Gardeners (WCEMGs) had the wonderful opportunity of having Dr. Calvin Finch present on monarch butterflies and milkweed. Free milkweed plants and seeds were provided to everyone in attendance! The next monthly meeting and presentation will be on Thursday, May 28, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Wilson County Justice Center Annex, 800 10th St. in Floresville. There will be a special presentation by the Urban Ag Renaissance. This presentation will provide education on urban farming and self-sustaining ecosystems.
