Floresville residents will soon see some new faces at City Hall — a new planning director and a parks and recreation director were introduced to the Floresville City Council May 28. Juan Martinez is the city’s new planning director, coming from the Fort Worth area with more than 20 years of experience in planning, code enforcement, and building inspections. Dr. Reena Gonzalez is the city’s new parks and recreation director, coming from the city of San Antonio, with multiple years in the field.
