Floresville man faces narcotics charges

A man allegedly receiving narcotics through the U.S. Postal Service has been arrested. Floresville Police Department personnel conducted a traffic stop the morning of May 21, during which they located marijuana inside the vehicle. Lawrence P. Talamantez, 34, of Floresville was taken into custody. During the investigation, officers discovered that Talamantez was allegedly receiving narcotics through the U.S. mail. The investigation led officers to a residence outside the city limits on C.R. 302, and a search warrant was executed there. Evidence consistent with the investigation was found and Talamantez was charged with: •Manufacture or delivery of less than 400 grams...
