Comments invited on desired future conditions of aquifers

The Evergreen Underground Water Conservation District is looking for public comments on proposed desired future conditions (DFCs) for aquifers in the district’s four counties. The DFCs are expressed as average water drawdowns in Atascosa, Frio, Karnes, and Wilson counties, which all fall within Groundwater Management Areas 13 or 15. Such information assists in water planning for the area and permitting of wells for residential, agricultural, and industrial use.
