A.S.T.E.P offers youth summer camp

The After School Tutoring Education Program (A.S.T.E.P) invites students ages 6-14 to participate in its summer youth program, scheduled for July 13- 21. At a cost of per week, students will receive instruction and hands-on experiences in: •Math, reading, and writing enrichment •Gardening and nutrition education •Sewing and baking •CPR and safety awareness •Financial literacy workshops •Arts, crafts, and creative expression •Physical fitness and wellness education •Educational field trips. The program will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at the El Masias United Methodist Church, 911 Trail St. in Floresville. Breakfast and lunch are...
