Locals are Texas Connections Academy graduates

Texas Connections Academy celebrated 1,250 graduates from across the state during its commencement ceremony at the University of Houston Ferttita Center on June 5. Among the graduating class were three students from Wilson County. The local graduates include: •Chase Garcia •Destinee Howard •Sophia Martinez. The Class of 2026 secured more than million in scholarships and awards. Texas Connections Academy’s Class of 2026 consists of graduates from cities and towns across the state who have benefited from a high-quality online education.
