Veteran Phillip Clemons opens gun range 'for everyone' in McCoy

A new shooting range has just opened in southwest Wilson County. As visitors drive onto the property of Center Mass Pistol & Archery Range — located at 1421 C.R. 213 in McCoy, a short drive southwest of Floresville — flags representing each branch of the U.S. military are visible, anchored to the stalls of the range. This, said owner and U.S. Army veteran Phillip Clemons, represents the welcoming atmosphere he hopes will encourage military personnel and first responders to sharpen their skills and exercise focused training.
