Wilson County Judge Hank Whitman (standing, right) administers the oath of office to Xavier Salas (left) and Richard L. “Dickie” Jackson during the July 13 meeting of Wilson County Commissioners Court. Salas was appointed by commissioners to the Wilson County Emergency Services (ESD) District 5 board, following the resignation of Mike Jackson; Dickie Jackson was appointed to the ESD 1 board to replace Quinten Kiolbassa.
