Despite the heat, area community members were happy to gather July 4 to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. From parades in the city of La Vernia to entertainment and fireworks at the Floresville Event Center, La Vernia City Park, Stockdale City Park, and Karnes City, the hometown celebrations were spectacular!
