Tour Jailhouse Museum, second and fourth Saturdays

The Wilson County Jailhouse Museum is open to visitors on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 19th century building, located at 1140 C St. in Floresville, served as the county sheriff’s family residence as well as a jailhouse until 1974. Admission is free. Donations to support the museum can be made at the door or mailed to the Wilson County Historical Society at P.O. Box 101, Floresville, TX 78114.
