Members of the Floresville Peanut Festival Association’s 2026 Court-elect visit the La Vernia City Council July 9, inviting everyone in La Vernia to attend this year’s festival, set for Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 8-10. Welcoming the visitors were (back, l-r) councilmen Garrett Rabel and Justin Oates, Mayor Gary Gilbert, Mayor pro tem Dianell Recker, and Councilwoman Katie Evans.
