U.S. Marshals arrest Wilson County hit-and-run suspect

A woman wanted by the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office related to a hit-and-run incident July 11 near La Vernia has been located and arrested. The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Stacy Lynette Gunter, 52, of La Vernia after locating her July 29 in San Antonio. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office had issued warrants for her arrest after deputies responded July 11 to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Champions Boulevard near La Vernia.
