A view of the remains of Ann Clements Rhew’s garden shed greeted her when she looked out her back door Aug. 1 after an unexpected thunderstorm struck. Rhew’s home and nearby structures in the 700 block of C.R. 403 near Floresville were unscathed by the high wind, although a large limb broke off an oak tree in the backyard.
