Wilson Area Children's Foundation helps area families

The Wilson Area Children’s Foundation (WACF) is helping 250 local children begin the 2026-27 school year with properly fitting clothing, shoes, undergarments, and — most importantly — the dignity and confidence every child deserves. The foundation, on Aug. 8, will hold a back-to-school event for area children in households experiencing financial hardship. Families will be able to select the items their children need most — thanks to the help of donors and supporters through the Wilson Area Children’s Foundation.
