Tour Jailhouse Museum for free

Admission to the Wilson County Jailhouse Museum is currently free of charge. Located at 1140 C St. in Floresville, the museum is open to visitors on the second and fourth Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The building, built in 1887, housed the county sheriff’s family as well as prisoners until 1974. Although there is no charge for admission, donations are gladly accepted to support the museum; donations can be made at the door or mailed to the Wilson County Historical Society at P.O. Box 101, Floresville, TX 78114.
