Brody Reed achieves third place in Junior Olympics

Poth’s Brody Reed earned third place in boys shot put 13-year-old division at the Track and Field Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa Aug. 5. Coming into the meet, he was ranked #9, so he knew that he needed to perform his best to make the finals, which is the top 8. He dug deep and threw a new Personal Best of 43’ 3” even in the wet, slick ring. Brody is in eighth grade at Poth Junior High School. Congratulations!
