Peanut goes 'walkabout': $1,000 reward

He’s 5 feet tall, likes to snack on puffy Cheetos and Triscuit crackers, and loves to take a dip in a pool. And he’s been missing since Aug. 1. “Peanut,” a 7-year-old red kangaroo, went “walkabout” from his home in the Whispering Oaks subdivision north of Floresville. Owners Margaret and David Browder have been scouring Wilson County for their fully domesticated marsupial, who has a partner, Ohana, and baby waiting at home for him.
