Abbott names appointees to Business Court Divisions

Gov. Greg Abbott recently selected multiple qualified candidates to serve on behalf of Texans; appointments include: •Third Business Court Division — Reappointed Melissa Andrews and Patrick K. Sweeten to the Third Texas Business Court Division to new two-year terms beginning Sept. 1, 2026; the 27-county Third Business Court Division includes Gonzales and Guadalupe counties, among others. •Fourth Business Court Division — Reappointed Marialyn Barnard and Stacy Sharp to the Fourth Texas Business Court Division to new two-year terms beginning Sept. 1, 2026; among the counties comprising the Fourth Business Court Division are Atascosa, Bexar, Frio, Karnes, and Wilson.
