Multiple agencies battle grass fire west of Floresville

Update 8/18/26: As of 12:10 pm the fire is mostly out. Crews remain on scene for mop up. Multiple agencies are battling a fast-moving grass and brush fire west of Floresville. The fire, initially reported shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday in the 3100 block of C.R. 104 near county roads 105 and 106, rapidly moved to another nearby property. The location is between F.M. 536 and S.H. 97.
