Rocky road: Floresville holds contentious meeting

“Just recall them. Recall them all!” Community members exiting the Aug. 12 Floresville City Council meeting expressed their discontent with the city’s leaders, after a contentious meeting that descended at times almost into arguments, not only between council members, but between council members and City Manager Andrew Muñoz. Despite the contention, however, much of the evening’s business was addressed. Several citizens addressed the council, some to share concerns.
