Disaster training for public officials is set for Aug. 25

Disaster training for public officials is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Wilson County Emergency Operations Center, 802 10th St. in Floresville. The T-PUB200: Executive Guide for Public Officials Workshop is designed to provide elected officials with a fundamental understanding of their roles and responsibilities in managing disasters within their jurisdictions. This workshop is beneficial to county and municipal officials, department heads, emergency management personnel, commissioner’s court members, public safety leadership, board and commission members, and public sector leaders.
