Area residents can have their say about proposed budgets and tax rates at upcoming public hearings. These meetings are open to the public. The meetings present taxpayers with an opportunity to see what local taxing entities plan to spend tax revenue on in the coming fiscal year, and the proposed tax rates to support the budgets. Upcoming hearings include: •Bexar County Emergency Services District (ESD) 12 — Wednesday, Aug. 19, 4 p.m., 14229 F.M. 1346, St. Hedwig.
