Overcoming obstacles became a way of life and didn't stop this couple from living each moment in the present, together, with love and joy.  

What would you do, if your passion was to become a doctor and you were told you had cancer?  Give it all up or deal with each obstacle as it came up?

Meet Dr Desiree Pardi, a palliative care physician who just wasn't ready to die.  She did everything possible to stay alive.  She lived with her diagnosis, despite having chemo treatments on a Friday was back at work on Monday to be with her patients.

Her husband Robert Pardi, shares their story.  Desiree never did discover how ill she was, her husband only shared the next steps to take.   While some may question was this denial in not wanting to know? Listen to Robert's story as he shares their journey.
