Question of the Week: Member of progressive and mainline denominations have shifted away from words like "missionary" and "evangelize" because of the rise of conservative Christianity and Christian nationalism. Is it possible to reclaim or reimagine these terms in ways that are not problematic and true to our own understanding of faith? Can we define ourselves by our own values, rather than simply pointing at the "other side" and claiming not to be like "those Christians"?
