Maria Bailey Benson is a serial entrepreneur who describes herself as having an innate understanding of how things work. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, both from Georgia Tech. She is the co-author of "A Girlfriend's Guide to Social Media" and loves to share her passion for technology and social media as well as how to successfully leverage it both personally and professionally. 

Maria has always considered herself a designer and a fixer. She grew up in a family furniture manufacturing business and loves the process by which things are made. Engineering was a natural fit - her industry experience includes twenty years of manufacturing and software development leadership in Fortune 500 companies.
