9. How she started her career at Toyota to now working for Intel, two big name companies.!

In this episode you will learn, that as a child Darnika was not exposed to STEM but has had a successful career in STEM for over 20 years.  She now makes it her responsibility to expose youth to STEM.

Darnika began her career at Intel ~15 years ago as a strategic data analyst in the Network and Telecom Services organization.  She promoted, to Operations Manager where she was responsible for global network infrastructure which included management of over 100,000 network devices and 300 contingent workers. 

In 2016, Darnika joined the Internet of Things Group as a Product Line Manager responsible for bringing to market IoT silicon and software products focused on computer vision and AI.  Currently she serves as an Operations Manager and Chief of Staff to the Platform Planning & Architecture which is responsible for delivering the IOTG base silicon and software roadmap products for our customers.

Prior to Intel, Darnika worked at Toyota Motor Sales, USA in the Office of the CIO as a data analyst responsible for developing the overall Information Technology KPI Dashboard reporting the total health of the IT organization.
