Bobby Phleman Barkley, age 89, of Pine Hill, died April 28, 2024 at his home. He was born on Nov. 19, 1934 in Linden to Leland Gray Barkley and Maurine Westbrook Barkley. He was a retired heavy equipment mechanic at MacMillan Bloedel, Inc. and a member of Lamison Baptist Church. Bobby is survived by his wife, Virginia D. Barkley; son, James Leland “Lee” Barkley (Lakisha); sisters, Carrie Crowley and Gayle Etheridge; grandchildren, Dillan Barkley (Marianna), Dezeray Bridges (Trevor), Bryan Stokley, and Conner Stokley; honorary grandchildren, Drueanna Flint and Daniel Flint; and eight great-grandchildren.
