Grove Hill woman faces charge of stabbing Jackson man

A Grove Hill woman has been arrested and charged with first-degree domestic violence after stabbing her ex-boyfriend, according to court documents. Latanga Cummings, 55, is accused of stabbing Demos Kinder, 68, of Jackson around midnight on Aug. 29. She is being held in the Clarke County Jail on a ,000 bond. Police said they were called to Kinder’s home by a neighbor and found Kinder was bleeding heavily from his left arm. Officers provided medical aid until emergency responders arrived.
