Man faces charges after Grove Hill police chase

A man with outstanding felony warrants was arrested Dec. 11 after a police chase in Grove Hill, according to Mayor Ross Wood. Adrian Spears was charged with attempting to elude law enforcement, endangerment and drug-related offenses, according to authorities, who said Spears had outstanding felony warrants. He was transported to the Clarke County Jail. Grove Hill officers attempted to stop a vehicle at Bertile’s Restaurant at 10:32 a.m. Authorities said Spears was speeding and the vehicle he was driving did not have a tag.
