Tyler Reed Jr. shot his first gobbler with his stepfather Wesley Strong on March 21 on youth weekend. He killed it with his Tristar 20-gauge that he received for his 10th birthday in January. The gobbler weighed 18.5 pounds, had a 9½-inch beard and 1-inch spurs. He shot the bird at 20 steps in Dickinson.
